I promised you the tour's events and now I'll deliver.
Yesterday, we all worked pretty hard till A Maths period when we all went mad and went full force into preparation for the tour: changing, packing, eating.
In concourse: ppl gathered, lined up, I marked attendance. Guess who were the last ones to arrive, nvm, I won't tell you. (you were supposed to guess anyway) We were the first class to be ready, (of course, we are always good), so off we went into the bus, where the two xinyis sat together. On the way, the facilitators (in english, they are guides), talked. Actually, one of them did. She immediately went into my black books. Firstly, the voice, then, the manner of speaking, then, the tone and then everything else. Luckily when she separted us she gave us girls to the other women, a much nicer one as we were soon to find out. Ms Devika is her.
First stop, Fort Canning, there, we walked where we have all walked on other tours before, but this was the first time I actually listened and was interested. You see, good guides actually make a huge diff.
Then, we took the bus to Peninsula Plaza. There we had our 'break'.
Walked to St. Andrews, interesting.
Walked to Parliament house. Changed IDs for passes. Went up 3rd level. Went into actual parliament room, through a 'strangers' door'. That was insulting. So much for making Sgreans feeling that they have a part to play.
Walked to Supreme Court. Went into court of appeals. Got a shock, so high tech. Computers @ every seat. Really interesting. Other than the computers, everything else was more of less like that of the court rooms you see on TV.
Then this other dumb facilitator gave us the talk about the court. She was sooooo ******* irritating. Every single thing was a 'so called'. Nothing is exactly what it is, they are all 'so called'. I was so irritated. Then, we walked to the bus, where we gave MD a resounding round of applause. Thats how good we were.
You know you love me
