I'm back from my holiday in New York and Germany, back from my first business class flight, back from spending time with some of my favourite people :)
My holiday wasn't the perfect one I had envisioned, but I grew to like it in it's own way. The Germany part was especially beautiful. Germany has always made me feel very comfortable, and it was lovely to be there again; to see Lena and her family, and 5gg and HP. Standing outside the airport, smelling the rainy german air before I left, I wondered if I'd be back anytime soon...and I still wonder.
Watched Star Trek with Andreas. Love that show.
Finally went running with ceci...I didn't die...haha
Met up with Lok in Melbourne. Had a lovely afternoon.
Went for SMU law's briefing session. They have almost managed to brainwash me.
Had a fantabulous outing with my favourite German class and our beloved crazy fun teacher. Of course, this is a very biased group, and strongly supported my Germany plans.
Logical conclusion: Accept SMU, apply for LMU, and see...

I've been wanting to blog since I came back from Manchester. Here I am, finally.
Lots of things to say about Manchester, but now that its already been a couple of weeks, I'm kind of lazy (whats new? :p). I had a wonderful time with HuayShan, though I caused her to panic for a while at first. haha. I must say I really really like England alot! I love the accent. I love the unique cities, and the quant little villages just a little way out into the country. I love the grand old estates that England has. If I had a month in the UK, and all the money in the world to spend, I'm sure I'll have a blast.
Since I've been back, I've been trapped in Singapore for 2 whole weeks. And the weather!!! It's bloody hot and humid. I have never stepped outside of the airport in Singapore in my kebaya and feel the tingling sensation in my skin the way I do like in Dubai. It's disgusting. There's no relief at night either. The air is still and warm. Absolutly gross.
I am now business class trained. Time for another period of feeling like an absolute noob. Catch up quickly! It was horrible having to wake up early in the morning for 4 days in a row and sleeping late at night. Aka: Sleeping for <6hrs a night. But then, I supposed I'd better get used to it. School life will be like that.
Speaking of school, I have not heard anything from anyone. I'm going to apply for Medicine in Germany. I think the greatest hurdle would be my level of German. Fingers crossed.
In 4 hours, I'll be flying off to New York for my holiday. I'll be meeting Hilary there! Finally! Though I think we just met some months ago, it already seems like forever. I was actually reconsidering NYC, considering the swine flu epidemic, but I figured it isn't that much more of a risk than what I'm exposed to in my job. So yeah...Pray I come home healthy ;)
