Ok, Friday, no school! Naturally, not one to waste a day, I went out. With C, to Orchard, Cineleisue, to break the law.
On the MT, we had fun playing with the trains, we got off @ orchard and took the train back to somerset. That was fun, we an across the platform to catch the train. Then came the long flight of escalators up to the cineplex. We would have gone to Lido, that place is so much cooler, only, fo some weird reason, they didn't show exorcist.
Oh, I must mention we saw a fishball rolling about in the MT station on ou way out. That was a nice encounter. Unfortunately, we weren't really into fishballs, though we were hungry!
Anyway, we patiently queued fo eternity and bought ou tickets fo exorcist without hassle. Down we went to buy our lunch from BK to sneak into the theater. Up we went again to queue for another eternity fo popcron. And in we went into the theater.
The advertisments weren't that bad, believe it or not, we only sat through advertisments fo 15 minutes and they were actually entertaining.
(ok I'm really ti*ed of cutting and pasting the lette* that is missing on my keyboa*d, its kaputt, so f*om now on, all you a*e going to see in place of it is "*")
The movie was*eally good. I had expected a pu*e ho**o* movie, but it actually p*oved to have a lot of depth. The*e was many unde*lying messages. Also, what makes movies sca*y is the way the came*a shifts and the music, take those away, and you'll totally have no shocks o* fea*s.
Also, its NC because of violence, but I believe mainly because of the *eligious implications. Its totally about faith in God to expel demons. Well, I guess this movie actually b*ings me close* to God too, in a way. It also spa*ked some question, whe*e did Lucife* fall when he fell f*om heaven? A*e the*e still people "touched" by the devil nowadays? Does exo*cism still take place? These would be inte*esting to find out.
Afte* the movie, we went into window shopping galo*e fo* about 2 hou*s, then I actually bought something in This Fashion, and we both bought something @ 7-11, we we*e so thi*sty. As I've been saying, the sun doesn't know its ve*y hot.
you know you love me
