Ok, people have been complaining that I haven't been writing. Wow, I didn't know you guys wait for my next words with such anticipation. That does wonders for my moral. Thanks (you know who you are ;))
Lots of stuff have been happening in my naturally exciting. Top of the list is - well I actually don't know if its SYF or Talentime. Both are equally important those in different ways. And guess what? Nah, I won't tell you; in case you say I'm bragging.
Syf: we're like soo super dead. Its now exactly 12 days away. Thats not even 2 weeks! The best thing is, we're still not ready. Costumes aren't ready, the background music sucks, people are always disappearing (myself included (i think)) and a ton of other crucial stuff aren't done. We'll just have to pull up our socks. This is gonna sound really dumb; but we'll all do our very best for the school, for the club and for ourselves. At the end of the day, even if we get a COP, we'll know that that was the best that we have done and no other thing we could have done would have brought us better results.
Talentime: Its now officially known as "Adrenalize" (thought of by t(m)). Alot (well a few) of us had our reservations, but naturally, guess who always has the last say? No prizes. This is another event that may be going to be a flop. Everything is like so super rushed and everything is behind schedule. Tomorrow is the big day. I do hope it happens to turn out ok. Ticket sales were, I'd say, a disaster. Everyone came rushing down to queue way before the tickets even arrived at the venue of sales, namely the canteen. They'd all learnt their lesson from last year, when so many people didn't get tickets. Not that it was any different this year. Actually this year was worse. Ticket distribution was totally unbalanced. At least last year we didn't have a whole class of people rushing down to queue and cutting queue. We'll make the best of it and pray for a success tomorrow.
Debate: I've no idea if I've talked about this. But we lost our previous debate with FG. The ironic thing is, we were the only debate going on. 2 other classes got into the semifinals without so much as a word out of their mouths because their opponants walked over. I think that is total nonsense. And now, because they don't have enough teams for the semifinals, we're their only choice because we were they only ones that actually debated. Thing is, we're not sure if we want the be subject to the torture of preparing for a debate again.
And here comes the most exciting piece of news.....(drumroll....)
I am proud to announce, that.......(drumroll.....).......I am allowed to take 10 subjects.
I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all those who have stood and rooted behind be, who have always supported me in my bid to take my 10 subjects. Namely: my family, Mr Tan, Mr So, Ms Tan and of course all my friends. Also not forgetting Mr Pek, who actually wrote my appeal even though he had an opposite opinion, many thanks to him. And to Mrs Cheng, who have spent much time being the middleperson between alot of people ( well I don't know exactly what she did, but it was alot). Thanks everyone. I will work hard so that you'll have no regrets. ;)
you know you love me
