Wow, sorry to use the cliche, but TIME FLIES! School hols have come and gone. I've had my share of fun, and now it'll be back to work. Ha, this is what I say, and I really want to concentrate on work, but knowing me, I don't think I will. So people, you'll have to pester me.
Ok, enough about that. Let me tell you about my holidays.
Monday: I went to watch Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events all my myself. Its quite nice to watch movies on your own sometimes. H claims that its a crappy movie, I don't think so. Based on past experiences and this recent experience, I've concluded that whatever H doesn't like I'll like, and vice versa; with very few exceptions.
Tuesday: EDS dance session-Home-A Maths
Those we had dance parts had to be in school at the unearthly holiday hour of 8.30 to learn their dances. PF brought his choreographer friend, S, to help us. S is amazingly short and stout, I'd even call him fat. Though I must say he can dance. And its quite amusing to watch someone like him dance. I thought the dances he choreographed us were quite interesting. Though I'm still not decided if he is gay.
I had to go back to school in the afternoon to collect A Maths CT and also for a super long lesson. Guess what? I passed! Yea right, crap!!! What am I going to do about my A Maths man? Well, I'll have to do something, only I don't know what yet. I won't bore you with details about the lesson. Suffice to say that it was VERY tedious.
Wedesday: Morning breakfast @ SP Mcs, EDS rehearsal. I was supposed to have a dental appointment in the afternoon, but somehow the dentist went for a holiday, so...Right, rehearsals were as always. So I shan't say anything. After EDS was the fun part. We went SP for lunch. Poor A had a horrible flu and was sniffing in suffering the whole time (hmm, how did that expression sound?). We then had a lenghty discussion about whether to follow our original plan and go to a gym or to go to east coast to cycle. We finally decided on east coast because E claimed that there were $1 rental. Since we were so smart, we made him promise that he would pay the extra if there were no $1 bikes. Being the confidant arse he was, he agreed. We took 2 cabs, gals and guys. We had to drop W off in school cause her mom was going to pick her up. Poor her. Well, of course there were no $1 bikes, but being the nice people we were, we paid half ($2) and E paid the rest. There were 5 of us (do the math), N couldn't cycle, so L was nice and stayed out with him. We cycled all the way to bedok jetty were we had a great learning experience about fishing. It was really cool. On the way there, T banged into a little boy. On the way back, Z fell (almost into the drain). After an hour, sun-charred us walked out of east coast and into PP. The guys went home while we girls shopped. Shows that girls are so much fitter than guys.
Thursday: We were supposed to go SP for breakfast again, but everyone was so beat only T turned up. Poor him had breakfast by himself. Then C went to keep him company when she decided she's had enough sleep. Me? I stayed home and watched half of Under the Tuscan Sun before rushing off for EDS. Its a really great movie. I finished it after I reached home. I found a new great actress: Lindsay Duncan. Go check her up. Well, the only different thing that happened @ EDS was that PF brought his friend J to watch ad comment on our 'stumble-through'. Though J is much better than P, as with S, I haven't decided if he is gay. But one thing is for sure: none of P's friends are tall, and all of them are fat; just like him. After EDS, we went to Marina Sq for lunch (long john's) and suntec for movie. The kids watched spongebox while C and I watched Hitch. Really funny movie.
Friday: Homework day. Well, I managed to squeeze a couple of movies in. The main one was 'The Forgotten". I thought it was rather thought provoking. I think I've already typed too much, so I'm not going to elaborate. Suffice to say it was a good movie and I managed to get some homework done (though I still have loads more).
Wish me luck
you know you love me
