AC ** AC ** JJJ C **...
blahblahblah...Cheers are over, Orientation is over...and you guessed it! I'm now in ACJC.
Not my first choice, of course, my first choice was VJC. And I still hope against all hope that I can get into VJC for JAE...*fingers crossed********************
For orientation, we were split into four large groups, namely: Celehir (my group), Glorfindel, Carnsir and Kyofu. From these four, we were further split into our OGs. My OGLs are pretty cool and fun people, though at first impression a bit bimbotic...Abel, our other OGL was game master, so didn't get to spend alot of time with him.
For the 4 days of orientation, we played in the rain, rolled in the mud, got starch and rotten fruits thrown at us...and all in all, were tortured well and hard.
Oh yes, the talks...The very first talk we had was a discipline talk. It was most amusing...Because about 90% of the cohort came from single sex schools, alot of the talk was about how to behave around the opposite sex. The DM actually told us to engage in multiple relationships before settling down. Those were the exact words she said! The girls especially, were super affected and awkward around guys...especially the CHIJ gals...haiz, should have known this when I had debate in sec 3...(are single sex schools becoming obsolete...)
Also, for PE, girls and boys are separated. Reason? Because they don't want the students to get distracted!!! WTH!!!
Introductory lectures started on the second week, to give us a taste of what lessons in different subjects were like. Some were alright, others were downright boring. And can you believe it? I actually went for C Lit and enjoyed it!!!
As for CCA, I went for dance auditions ;) Because of that, I missed the drama auditions...but AC theatre is really demanding...and I have no wish to go home only to sleep every night.
Went back CCHMS for CCA orientation last Sat and for drama session this friday...twas really great to be back! (though the yellow buildings look really ugly!!!)
K, thats all for now, I'll be off for theory class...
ciao

Its 2006! Woohoo...A year has come and gone. 2005 is history.
I'm back from the esplanade countdown. I've washed and I've finished smsing the singtel users that I know :D
The countdown was really great! Especially the display of fireworks. There were exciting moments, and moments of tranquility. Who would have thought that one couldn't achienve so many different kinds of atmosphere with different varieties of fireworks? And the music was great too!
I couldn't find tiffe and the rest, so I spent like 45 minutes walking around. Mobile network was down, so I couldn't call or sms. Apparently alot of people had this problem. Bleh! Thank goodness, network came back on. So I was able to call, locate them, and run towards them. From the esplanade to Raffles City...run!
We went into starbucks for a while, then we realised that we had 15 minutes before the last train from City hall left, so we had to rush down to the station.
haha, twas a good night...
so good night folks
