Did I say 2 posts ago that my principal rocks?
well...haha, i haven't changed my mind.
but today we all got "screwed" by her ( to use AC lingo ;) )
us J1s got double...
firstly, for our short skirts.
secondly, for our horrible, abominable, atrocious mid year exam results.
hmm...now they are taking a heavier stand on diciplinary issues because some pervert outside took picture sof VJ girls in short skirts all over Sg, emailed them to Mrs Chan and got her all upset. hmm....vj does have a rep. for short skirts...but they're not that short, and short skirt doesn't = sex symbol. what an ass!
not that i'm saying its fine for students to wear their uniform like that, but for that ass to write such things...is NOT fine!
as for our results, obviously we don't measure up to the J2s, they are the dragon batch, the geniuses. But it seems that we don't measure up at all. And it wasn't any excuse that term 2 was a super busy term and that there was hardly any time to study in the hols cause of all the numerous activities. after that, the pep talk she gave sounded very much like whatever my dad told moi...hmmm...that makes me come to the conclusion that all parents are like that :p will i be like that? do i mind if i do? haha...oh well...thats far far away...if it ever happens :p
hmm...what am i gonna do? i hope i can do a shannon. suddenly wake up and just study and study and study...and still have a sorta life. haha...he's really amazing...i wanna do that...i can if i put in enough effort...am i willing?
oh well...we'll see...i'll try my best...
btw, calen is super duper cute!

My Principal Rocks!Vjc rocks!
Mrs Chan is da best! :D
haha, cause everyone was up watching worldcup finals yesterday, and because VJC is once again sailing champions, Mrs Chan let us off @ 12.30pm :D How cool is she?
haha, that was after saying she didn't think she could give us any time off this term blahblah...
About the finals...I was supporting Le Francais all the way till Zizou did that utterly stupid thing.
Thought he was a bull and went to ram Meterazi's chest. Crazy...吃错了药!
Of all people...
Of all things...

World Cup is over!!! Unbelievable...Ich kann das nicht glauben!!!
Das Weltmeister ist schon verpasst...Oh well...heres my last few pence...Caught the 3rd place match in Paulaner's with Jung kai and Edison.
( Well, pics are above )
Thats some pics of the drunk guys. Up to you go decide if they were really drunk.
0.5l of Munich Lager lasted moi for 5 hrs :D
We met from 11.40...then spent 20 minutes deciding where to plonk our butts to rot for the next 3 hours. Decided to go straight to Paulaner's in the end.
Was super duper bored while waiting.
match started...atmosphere wonderful!
They kept singing...
" O...Wie ist das schoen (2x)
So schoen hat meinen Augen nicht gesehen
So schoen (2x) "
"Olly Olly Olly...."
"Schweini Schweini Schweini..."
Yeah! Deutschland rules! :D:D:D

I ThinkIt was a great match
Miroslav Klose is a damn nice guy
The greatest mistake was assuming it would go to penalties and take Klose out
Bufon is a superb goalie
Its great that the team is set to win the Third Place match
Odonker should play from the start of the game

My few pence worth on the WC quarterfinalsGermany vs ArgentinaResults: Full time, 1-1
Extra time, 0-0
Penalties, 4-2 (DEUTSCHLAND!!!)
Supported: Germany (duh)
1st half: Total rubbish. Quatsch. Crap. No one was playing football. Just kicking the ball around the field like its some practice session. German team was terrible, totally no team work, no one really trying. Everyone was giving less than 50% of their potential.
2nd half: Argentina started picking things up. Germany didn't start coming alive until Ayala scored a goal for Argentina. After it was 0-1, Germany got scared, and they started playing some real football. Thereafter, the match became a little more interesting, if a little too violent. Argentina was an angry team. (as can be seen from their little internal fight after the match)
Extra time: Nothing exciting happened. In the beginning, both teams were trying damn hard to get another goal for themselves, after a while, it just became a mutual agreement to waste time and kick it out for penalties.
Penalties: Wonderful saves by Lehmann. Wonderful shots by the rest of the team. Historic moment when Kahn put aside all grieviences and was talking to Lehmann before and after the match. For the first time, he didn't care whether he was playing or not, all he wanted was for Germany to win and get into the semi-finals.
Amusing moments: When Klose (I think its him) patted the referee on the back on giving someone a yellow card. Seemed like he told him, "Gut gemacht!".
Overall comments: Since I'm a Germany supporter, it was a super heart-attacking match. Every time Germany missed/Argentina almost scored. Also during penalties, or especially penalties. Didn't even dare to watch when Ballack was kicking...
Italy vs UkraineResults: Full time, 3-0 to Italy
Didn't watch that match. But Italy is a strong team and I guess that showed...
England vs PortugalResults: Full time, 0-0
Extra time, 0-0
Penalties, 3-1 (Portugal)
Supported: Didn't particularly supported Portugal, but didn't want England to win.
Overall comments: I thought it was a very rivetting match. Also, pretty fierce. Both teams played very hard, and sometimes even ugly. Plenty of vulgarities, hard pushing, trying to get people sent off. Rolling on the ground and then jumping around when a free kick was awarded.
Still, I thought it was an exciting match.
Moments: The 'devasted' look on Beck's face (to quote the commentator) when he was pulled out due to some injury. He looked really sad.
Brazil vs FranceResults: Full time, 0-1 (France)
Supported: Expected Brazil to win, but was hoping France might find a way through.
Overall comments: I thought this was the friendliest match I'd ever seen. The players from both sides were so chummy with each other. There weren't any major arguements with the referee when fouls were made, yellow cards were given etc. After that, they helped each other up quite happily. No one was pushed away while offering help. It didn't seem like a fight to get into the semi finals at all. Though the game itself wasn't especially fascinating, it was a pleasant game to watch.
Players: This was the first time I've seen Cafu and Zidane play. But through this single match, these 2 players especially have won my admiration.
Semi Finals!!!Germany vs Italy: Of course I hope Germany will win! But it'll be a tough one.France vs Portugal: I'm rooting for France. Those old men have done a wonderful job so far.you know you love me
