I got a well done for my chem worksheet! Okay, its no biggie, but its my first well done, so it is a big deal :p how nice to get back a piece of work full of ticks :D those who say that reverse psychology works best are soo wrong man. there's a reason why the "right" way is called as it is!
Its common tests on Monday and SPA tomorrow and Thuraday. So I have no reason to be here blogging. But its weird, I can't seem to get into the studying mood. Not even now, when exam is like TMr! In the past, although I wasn't a consistent worker, I at least was able to seriously study whenere the need arose i.e. whenever there is a test the next day or common tests the next week. But that is exactly the case now and nothing is happening to me. Other than that, in the past, I was able to finish the whole bio textbook in a night, and now I can't even finish 2 chapters! HELP!!! lol..sigh..good luck to me man..die..
lets hope that I actually get some work done tonight.

CNY hols are over...I've deposited my nice little collection already.
I must say CNY is one of the only festivals which has retained its orginal 'sensation'/'atmosphere' as I've known it since time immemoral.
Unfortunately, this also means that I've been eating alot of new year goodies over the past few days...ah well, hopefully studying streaks will keep me on a somewhat more controlled diet over the next few months.
This new year was also different cause I met cousins I never knew existed. And for once, I was the youngest of my generation in a gathering. Haha, I felt so kiddy, everyone else was like >24...
But not so bad la...same gen ppl don't click too badly.
I wanna learn to dive! I've been hearing so many diving stories; it seems to interesting and fun. And apparently its not too difficult to get your liscence. You can do it in a weekend...though it'll set you back around $500?
Diving or ice-skating? Ice-skating is safer. Haha, you don't risk getting trapped by undercurrents or being attacked by jellyfish. The most you break your bones on the ice. After some thought, maybe diving isn't my thing afterall...being out in deep open waters seem pretty formidable. You're just this tiny thing out in that huge expanse of neverending water...
Okay, enough babbling.
I had plenty to write about, but as usual, don't wanna write about them already.
I so need to study...common tests in less than 10 days!

Yesterday was valentine's day, tomorrow is CNY celebration, the next day is chu xi and then comes CNY. Eventful week eh.
I LOVE MY MOrTAL! Lol! Writing to her has been like so exiciting. Haha. I can't believe it. We share so many similar opinions and likes...
(okay, that was like 2 days ago, its already new year's eve now, so hopefully i'll finish this post today.)
Now I can't remember what I wanted to blog about.
Vday: Went shopping the day before with ceci. Haha, we planned to take our time with the vday presents, but we walked into cold storage and we greeted with the sigh of cheap flowers, so our shopping was wrapped in like 10 minutes. I spent the whole night plucking out individual flowers n preparing them though. So not that much of a diff. Lol.
vday itself was fun. everyone was in the happy vday mood, so lessons weren't that trying either ;) yay, i got a whole bagful of sweets. Just spent the morning pigging out on stray ferero roches. heehee.
CNY celebrations: VJ's cny concert wasn't that bad. Though CO sucked and the nicest performances were the dances. All the awards and competitions were pretty dry too. Back in CCHMS, things weren't much better. LOL. Ah, i missed seeing our dear uncle emcee. haha. and sadly, our dear ahmad didn't gush over him. Had a nice time chatting with mrsoon and mehmeh! Ah, I miss mehmeh so much. One day i really must go back to claim the treat she's always claiming she'll treat sometime. Was supposed to go for lunch with drama crew, but DD decided to go out with gr and qianni n yinghui wanted to spend more time in their primary schools, so fishball n i decided to call it off. sigh. ohyes, n uncle wanted to go out with his obs ppl.
so the afternoon was spent at home watching bond ;) Went to rochester park for dinner with aunties. Then st james powerhse after tt. Having 5 aunties like mine can be both fun n trying...sigh...lol
i was gonna write some philosophical and deep stuff, but no mood to write those now. everytime that mood strikes me, i don't have a computer at hand.
ah well, better luck next time. haha

As I go through my days, there were actually alot of events that i wanted/intended to blog about. But now that I'm actually blogging, my mind is a blank. Oh well, I'll see what I can remember.
School hasn't been too bad. I sorta understand and follow all the lessons. And I have started studying everyday at night now. Hopefully common tests won't be too much of a killer, so I can actually be encouraged by the fact that it is possible to do well. I used to think that those who consistently didn't do well for tests and exams were plain stupid and lazy. But now I've realised that a boost of moral does help alot. Say a student has been slacking alot, so he hasn't been doing well for the first few tests. It's kinda hard to suddenly pick up momentum and catch up. But once he starts, if he does well in the very first test after that, it'd really be a huge encouragement and will spur him to work even harder. Hopefully that test comes soon for moi. Grr.
Drama on Wednesday wasn't that bad. The kids didn't give such a revolting performance, it was actually passable and worthy of an audience. But then, maybe it was because it was a scene they were all familar with. Ah well, we shall see what happens when they run through things like the first few scenes. Theres actually hope! Wow!
I've been spending like the last 2 tuesday afternoons with DD, and in the same area! Ha, it was nice just spending a few hrs (which actually lasted quite long actually) hanging. TT DD, after her hair cut, was desperately trying to flatten her antenna of a fringe. After the student was done with her hair, it looked like a bomb exploded on her head or something. Luckily the laoshi did some damage control so it didn't look too bad in the end. TT woman should get a hair transplant la :p After hair cut we spent 2 HOURS in simlim looking for the best deal for her ipod nano. I didn't realise there were actually so many cheapo apple imitations out there. We wasted our efforts trying to charm the shit out of the uncles and nerds tending to the shops, cause the best deal we got was $294 (highest $299).
Its fishball's bday this sunday! Haha, yay! We're gonna have a nice afternoon simply hanging again :D

I saw a shaft of light streaming through the overcast sky today.
It was a cloudy day
Dark and gloomy
But as I was travelling in the bus
I saw a parting in the clouds
A little oval hole in the expanse of grey clouds
The warm rays of the evening sun pouring through
Illuminating a single building
The building wasn't a very pretty one
But it glowed as it was bathed in the warm sunset rays
I don't know what you people can get from this. But to me, it symbolises hope and that everything and everyone is special is its own way.
I wanted to take a picture to capture that moment in a tangible way forever.
But trees were then blocking my view.
By the time I got to a clearing, the oval hole of sunlight had become but a thin golden line.
For a moment, for just a moment, the plain building took centre stage.
It stood out amidst all the tall skyscrapers and architectural wonders.
No matter how insignificant you think you are, no matter how much you think you do not compare to others, you are special. You will have your moment of _____. Your wish will come true.
