http://sevenwtfsaweek.blogspot.com/2007/05/fight-on-vj-fight-on.html my favourite of all i've read.
read some other blogs too. man, I don't believe the thing thats on so many people's minds is our lost day off!
In case some people are lost, I'm talking about today's vj-rj soccer semi-finals; in which vj lost on penalties 6-7.
It was such a replica of WorldCup06 Germany-Italy match!
It was a lost that shouldn't have been.
What if Mr Tan Yew Hwee had been there? (apparently he had food poisoning)
I'm pretty sure the team would have 'woken up their idea'. Appropriate directions would have been bellowed at the team and timely substitutions would have been made.
Although our team this year isn't as strong as last year's, we're still good. We shouldn't have lost. The boys needed their coach. Their real coach, no the good looking fellow who coaches the girls or the blonde who only knows how to grab his head whenever we miss a goal.
Also, I have a problem with our captain. Where on earth was he on the field? Why wasn't he directing and motivating his team? Instead of the fellow doning the green arm band, it was our dear J1 Thai that did the work of the captain. And it was our goalie who gave the post match speech.
There are 3 cases of handball that were somehow overlooked by the kayu referee.
A rafflesian grabbed the shirt of one of our guys, in a few instances they were offside, they were rolling and faking all over the field. All of these were also somehow overlooked.
During the penalty shootout, some idiots had to start shouting "RJ beat VJ 3-0", also, another bunch of idiots had to start making noise, causing our player to loose focus.
My last issue is with the principal. For that, refer to the website in the first line.
It was so heartwrenching to see the boys cry.
They were beat and beaten.
But guess what guys? We still love you!
We'll support you all the way!
We're really proud of you!!!!
you know you love me
ps: seriously, someone please go and kidnap mrs chan back to vj!
