As a very smart girl has predicted, I shall now announce to the world that a certain Ms Ong has been offered a place in VIP (for you ignorant peeps out there, VIP = victoria integrated programme) and she has very wisely accepted the offer.

My next topic shall be about how screwed certain people in Hollywood are becoming. Extremities like Lindsay and Britney need to get their acts together! Lindsay Lohan is a great actress and singer. Britney has had a fantastically successful career. These people have everything going for them if only they know how to get manipulate things to go the right way. Hello! You don't get wasted and knocked up every single day and arrested twice in half a year! Neither do you go gallavanting around in photoshoots puking on thousand dollar dresses and posing like you're half dead. Little girls all over America idolise these two [i don't even know what to call them now...not a girl not yet a woman...].
Paris Hilton would seem an angel beside these two!

So, my topic for today is: FRIENDS
My dear girl, "bestfriends" and "girlfriends" do exist. And they exist without the " ".
But of course, you can't be everybody's bestfriends not everybody can be your friend!
They'll be plenty with whom you have great fun together, people whose company you enjoy and have an amiable relationship with. But a couple of days or a week of fun doesn't automatically make you the best of friends!
As time goes by, you'll find the ones with whom you enjoy being most with, with whom you have the most fun and to whom you can run to to (as you say) "listen to you cry or rant".
I'm glad and proud to say that I've found these friends of mine!
And you fret not! They're there! Just waiting for you to suss them out!

Its LIVE EARTH in 19 hours time! 24 hours of concert and music! WHEEEE!
Actually, while I agree that the whole concept of live earth is very hypocritical, I also kind of feel that it will make a difference.
The lights for a single concert (there are 7) are enough to supply the energy of 10 houses.
The artists will have to fly to the concert venues.
Audience will be making their way to concert venues; driving, flying etc.
TV audience will be tuning in all over the world, some for the whole 24 hours.
The amount of CO2 thats going to be emitted is going to be gianormous!
Hows that for advocating saving the environment and fighting greenhouse warming?
It must however be admitted that sympathy for the cause is still next to non-existent.
A large scale even like this with popular icons will get the young people revved up and excited about it. And if the celebrities do as they have pledged and lead by example, there is a possibility of efforts to fighting global warming becoming much more intense and we might actually see big brother take some active useful action. And as we all know, as long as big brother starts the ball rolling, others will chip in too (other by their own will or by ehem). And the world might just become a better place.

my gosh! that place is packed full of goons and bums! its the day of the last soccer match at te national stadium as well as a farewell concert. so yea...all the goons and bums were there for us cutegals to laugh at.
