I went for my first S-League match yesterday! Tampines against some Japanese team they paid to play here.
I suppose I'll have to reluctantly thank my cousin for dragging me along :p
It was rather exciting. Reminiscent of VJ matches, and the Japanese coach reminiscent of TYH.
The main entertainment of the night wasn't the match though, it was the audience!
We've heard stories of how Singaporeans cheer their team on. With shouts of 'referee kayu' and strings of vulgarities. But to experience it at a match itself was a new experience altogether. We were so amused.
I also attended school this week! It was good to be back in school again! Can't wait to really start school next year. Flying is enjoyable in it's own ways, but theres only so much one can experience there.
Spent a very nice 12 hours in school :)
Then there was Elise's party, and out little outing to Mind Cafe. My class is really nice company :) Can't wait for december!
Before this whirlwind of activities I was in Istanbul. A rather interesting and beautiful place. Detailed reports shall be in the mailing list.
I can drive smoothly now!
I can spin on ice!
Recess week next week. Which means everyone should be relatively freer! :)

YaQi and HuayShan have left for lands far away. Hilary has been in far far away land for an eternity, YaQi for a long long time, and though Shan just left, the prospect of her not being around for the next few months seems like weeks too. And soon, more of my friends will be leaving. As depressing as it is and as much change as it'll bring to life, I suppose it is as YaQi once said "Ein Aspekt des Lebens."
As much as we don't like our friends to go away to study, to be in different schools, to not see each other as much as we'd like, it is all a part of life. Change must happen, through the various phases of life, and to quote a secondary school teacher, "Life goes on." We'll just have to make the best of the situation and treasure things as they are now.
On another note, the weather has turned, and Christmas is in the air. Literally. The wind has changed and brought with it a tinge of Christmas round the corner, and its lovely lovely lovely! :D Hopefully you know what I mean, because the first smell and feel of Christmas is a lovely sensation!
you know you love me
