I said I'd try to update more often, and so I shall try :p
Driving's coming along well now. Everything comes with frequent practice :) Though it doesn't help that my instructor isn't exactly much of a talker, and sleeps and plays sudoku while I'm driving. I've a little more than a month left, with about 3 lessons a week. That should be enough to put me legally on the roads. Fingers crossed!
Chances of me getting to drive me dad's car is as slight as it can get. Rental companies don't rent out cars to new drivers. The plan is to get a lau pok car to play with for a while. But knowing what a miser I am, and it being wiser to save up for uni and other stuff...we'll see...
Speaking of saving for uni, it's high time I sat down and seriously start thinking about what I want to do. Earlier this year, I had this grand plan that I told everyone of. I was going to fly for fun, after which I would apply for this and that. That's still the plan, but it'd be nice if I knew exactly which direction I want to put my energies into. International relations is sort of top of the cards, but that comes with limitations and restrictions (placed by myself). So the task now is to find out what my favourite plan B is. Time is running out.
I have another subject of people talking to aqquaintances only when they need something. But then, probably being a prepetrator of that myself, I shan't say anything about that right now. Maybe it's time to read Tuesdays with Morrie again.
Things to remember for two-foot spin:
-Keep body straight and tight, upright
-Keep elbows up while bringing arms in
-Do not draw in too close
-Look up
Things to remember for half-flip:
-Do a proper mohawk (i.e. change at half blade)
-Stretch back leg
-Jump when pick lands (upwards)
-Land on left pick with right blade flat forward
-Keep arms up and in position
