Okay, I've sent the last of anyone there is to send off.
And my social circle has been reduced as far as it can go.
Hilary in Kutztown, and as good as never coming back
YaQi in Watermelon, and busy mugging
Huay Shan in Birmingham, Elise in Imperial, Liz in Oxford, all about to get very busy
Me and Deborah will now be the only girls for class outings
As for my favourite German class...
Lok is in Melbourne
YaQi in Watermelon
ZhangYun in her lovely uni in the mountains
Melissa in Imperial with Elise
numbers again drastically reduced
I think people leaving is the truest test of friendship. It's very easy to be friends, stay friends, and grow friendship when people are around each other all the time. It's inevitable to form new friendships and close friends when you're stuck together for long periods of time (especially in the form of school). The question is what happens when a close friend moves away? Will you lose some of that closeness from not being around each other as much, being caught up in separate lives to talk as much? Or will your friendship still be able to grow?
We get a little taste of that when we go to different schools, but being a plane ride away, and being in different time zones is a different thing.
Yes, we have crash sessions of catching up now and then, where everything comes out, but thats different from meeting frequently and knowing whats going on almost everyday.
ah well, we'll see...
Went back to school for open house with the guys. Was so nice to be back in school, such a comfortable, homely place.
Was talking to Eileen about cartoons. Then went to find Captain planet on youtube. Now it looks really backward. Lol.
Off to Amsterdam for window shopping tomorrow :p
