Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends! Love you guys! Especially the single ones. Those attached, don't need to bother about you guys anymore :p
I miss Vday in school. Boy, was it happening. 'Love is all around'
Flowers and other nick nacks being sold, people baking cookies to distribute, everyone showing each other love..
Those were the days
I'm at the airport, waiting for my flight to Kunming for my one week holiday now.
It's so nice to enjoy all the facilities at Singapore Changi Airport at my leisure. One day I'll come with hours and hours to spare and shop and shop and shop.
I've no idea how much connectivity I'll get in Kunming, so miss me!
you know you love me

Life has been good since I've come back from Dubai-Istanbul (save for unwanted and unwelcomed disturbances)
CNY was as always. Other than my being sick for the first 2 hours, all was great!
And of course excepting that I worked on the 2nd day :(
But in jobs like these...people have to work to keep things going...
It's annoying in places like Australia (I'm in Brisbane as I'm typing this) where it's a dead town after 5pm and you can't find something decent to eat and practically everything is shut tight.
My ankle is almost perfect and I can skate properly again :)
Skating deteriorates faster than piano skills. I hadn't skated for 3 weeks, and when I went back onto the ice, everything was horrible. One can imagine competitive skaters' anguish when they're injured and can't get onto the ice, and it's amazing how so many of them work so hard to get back into top form so quickly.
Speaking of skating, now that Kallang Ice World is the only rink in Singapore, they can run the show exactly as they like. So now lessons are a huge hassle. I can't arrange things with my coach anymore, and everything has to go through the school. They've lumped a whole truckload of rules and restrictions about lessons that it's really getting on my nerves.
And speaking of injuries, I went to Male again and got extremely burnt. I'd never been so burnt in my life! My back was literally untouchable and was and is still scarlet.
Went snorkeling out into the deep sea. It was corals where I could still stand on for a good distance, until suddenly, there was a drop. One more step, and you're above a deep dark ocean floor. You suddenly can't see the bottom, the water is suddely cold, the currents are suddenly much stronger, the water becomes very very blue, huge fishes suddenly loom up at you...You get the idea...it's quite scary. Though it was also quite an experience. Over the edge, a whole new world of life greets you.
This week was orientation week for the new J1s. Those were the good old days of fun. Being in school and an OGL must be the best thing in the world :)
I've one more week of flights till my leave, when I'm going for a holiday with my dad :D
Everyone seems to be busier with school this sem...oh well, gives me more time to go skating?
Can't wait to finally start my uni application process...
sorry debo, I don't post pictures :p and I'm in Brisbane, so don't have any pictures with moi :p
Speaking of Brisbane, Australia is LIFE itself in summer! Quite a difference from winter. But maybe its also because I'm here on a Friday night.
ps: I haven't met up with my class for the longest time...since the uk ppl came back...oi guys! we don't know when you're not in camp, so your job to organise :p
