I was reading my old old ancient blog posts. I used to blog about my days and experiences in such descriptive detail. Reading the paragraphs and paragraphs all about one day, I could almost experience the same tranquillity, the same moist morning mountain air, the same wonder and flavourful tastes all over again.
I used to find so much joy in so many things.
I'd forgotten about skating; the exhilaration of flying across the ice, letting the weight swish around.
Thinking back, I am reminded of what an inspiration Michelle Kwan is and the amazing time I met her in NLB on my birthday. Two major lessons from her are tenacity and grace.
Previously, I'd always thought about world events and entertained thoughts about actually getting down and doing something. It's all very well to sit and mull about how things shouldn't be a certain way. But we all know how productive that is. Doesn't do zilch. Previously I'd always figured I didn't have the money, didn't have the resources etc. Now I have no excuse. Target is to actually get something done by the end of 2015! Lets go!
